Man finds creepy VHS tape labeled "A Surprise," actually watches it

You'd think, after horror movies like The Ring, that no one would wanna go investigating the contents of dusty old VHS tapes in thrift stores. Well, the following person did just that—he went and played a creepy videocassette he found that was labeled, “A Surprise!” Watch it all unfold below.

Of course, who has a VCR still hooked up at home? But, yeah, apparently this guy does: “I found a VHS tape at the junk store that just had the label 'A surprise!'” he tweeted on Sunday. “I thought I'd check it out, since I have a VCR & TV hooked up after all.” And what do you think this man found?

Sure, imaginations can run wild with what monstrosities might actually be present on the worn-out Mylar ribbon spooled inside of a creepy videocassette located in the back of a thrift shop. But was it actually something spooky? Was it a ghost video? A UFO encounter? Something else?

As pointed out over at Mashable, some Twitter users are advising the brave VHS seeker to stop looking through old videotapes before he comes across something he really doesn't wanna see. Samara Morgan, maybe?
