Crosses (†††) release debut album to stream

Crosses (†††), the equal parts dark and trippy electronic project from Chino Moreno of Deftones and Shaun Lopez of Far, have released their self-titled debut full-length album for streaming. Crosses have released two EPs in the past, both originally available for listening through the band’s website.

Prior to the album, Crosses released two singles, “Bi†ches Brew” and “†he Epilogue”.” We featured the release of “Bi†ches Brew” and you can check out the official music video below.

“With a song like ‘†he epilogue,’ at no point was anyone thinking ‘Wow, we might have a hit on our hands here.’ We were writing because we loved writing together – that’s it. If we have some radio success with (†††) that would be awesome,” says Moreno with regards to the catchiness of the new album. He explained that, unlike the pressure he felt from the record company when he was a part of Deftones, his writing for Crosses is completely organic.

After the album’s four-month delay, you can now stream ††† via Pitchfork, prior to its official release tomorrow through Sumerian Records. You can buy the album through the band’s website.

In addition to the release of †††, the band is on tour through April. Pick up your tickets and check out the dates below.
