Daft Punk to make live comeback performance with the Weeknd at 2017 Grammy Awards

The Recording Academy announced that Daft Punk and the Weeknd will be performing together at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

According to Pitchfork, this will be the duo’s first live appearance since their 2014 Grammys performance, as they never toured behind their Grammy-dominating 2013 album Random Access Memories.

Pitchfork reports that they are set to join the Weeknd to perform their chart-topping collaboration, “Starboy,” which marked Daft Punk’s first-ever No. 1 single. Daft Punk also collaborated with the Weeknd on his track, “I Feel It Coming.”

Daft Punk’s last Grammy appearance was with Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, and Stevie Wonder, when they performed Get Lucky. They also nabbed the title of Album of the Year for Random Access Memories and Record of the Year for “Get Lucky.”

Also announced for this year’s Grammy Awards are collaborative performances from A Tribe Called Quest, Anderson .Paak, and Dave Grohl, as well as Alicia Keys and Maren Morris, reports Pitchfork. Previously announced performers include Adele, Bruno Mars, Metallica, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban.

This year’s Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. EST on Feb. 12.
