Former Real Friends vocalist Dan Lambton tests positive for coronavirus

Former Real Friends frontman and current rationale. vocalist Dan Lambton has tested positive for coronavirus.

He announced on Monday that he is currently in quarantine following the diagnosis.

The coronavirus pandemic has impacted the music industry in numerous ways this year. Various musicians including Tool‘s Maynard James Keenan, Crown The Empire‘s Brandon Hoover, Doja Cat, J Balvin and P!nk have all disclosed their coronavirus diagnoses in 2020.

Now, Lambton has revealed that he has contracted the virus. He announced on Monday that he is currently in quarantine and doing okay. According to his tweet, he is experiencing mild symptoms and is encouraging all of his followers to get tested.

“Hello Twitter, just wanted to let y’all know that I tested positive for covid recently and I am quarantined from Kelsey and kitty until I get a negative test back. Mostly asymptomatic thankfully besides a little bit of a runny nose. Even if you have mild symptoms, get tested!!!”

Following his departure from Real Friends, Lambton has been hard at work as the vocalist for rationale. Last year, the band released their debut album You Are Flawed, But You’ll Be Fine which features “Are You Still Listening?” and “Space Angela.”

He also teamed up with Mayday Parade for their cover of the Beatles‘ “I Want To Hold Your Hand” earlier this year. The collaboration features members of the MaineWe The KingsGrayscale and Knuckle Puck.

As well, Lambton has been doing various streams on Twitch over the past few weeks.
