So far, things aren’t looking too optimistic for the live music industry this year. Over the past few weeks, both Coachella and Glastonbury have canceled their 2021 festivals. As well, Epicenter and Sonic Temple have also been delayed until 2022. Last month, Halsey was also forced to cancel her entire Manic North American tour that was set to happen this summer.

Now, it looks like Dance Gavin Dance are also seeing even more concert delays. On Friday, they revealed that their Afterburner headlining tour has been delayed again. Now, the run of shows with Animals As Leaders, Veil Of Maya, Eidola and Wolf & Bear begins on Sept. 7, 2021 in Portland, Oregon. All previous tickets purchased for the tour will be honored for the new dates.

Along with this, Dance Gavin Dance’s Swanfest has now been postponed until 2022. The Sacramento, California event is happening on Apr. 23, 2022 with more bands set to be announced in the near future. For those of you wishing for a refund, you can reach out to your point of purchase for more information.

Like so many other bands, Dance Gavin Dance have taken their live shows virtual. Back in December, they shut down traffic in their hometown of Sacramento for their special Tree City Sessions Volume 2 streaming event. Dance Gavin Dance exclusively told Alternative Press how much the monumental virtual concert meant to them. Shortly after this, they treated fans to a full live album recorded during the performance.
