Daron Malakian covers System Of A Down with Scars On Broadway
While a new System Of A Down album may not be coming soon, guitarist Daron Malakian is keeping busy by reactivating his side project Scars On Broadway. Below, watch Malakian and Scars On Broadway perform two SOAD songs live.

Malakian and his Scars cohorts played an acoustic set last week at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, per Kerrang. In addition to a new Scars song called “You Destroy You,” the group performed SOAD’s “Lonely Day” and “Lost In Hollywood.”
It was the guitarist’s first performance with Scars since 2012. And that long-awaited new SOAD album? Malakian has said vocalist Serj Tankian is the holdout on recording, as the frontman apparently “wants to make an album his way” instead of adhering to the “certain way that System make albums.”
