Dashboard Confessional are hitting the road this summer on a massive tour
If you weren’t able to catch Dashboard Confessional on their recent co-headlining tour with Jimmy Eat World, you’re in luck. The band just announced another slate of tour dates.
Today, Chris Carrabba and co. shared they’re slated as the special guest on Counting Crows‘ upcoming Banshee Season Tour. The expansive tour kicks off in mid-June in Kansas City, Kansas and runs until late September, making stops all across the U.S., eventually wrapping up at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

It makes sense that the two rock groups are hitting the road together, as they’ve been long time friends for two decades. In a press release, Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz says, “One of the best things about a life in rock and roll is that we spend it traveling the world playing music. It’s even better when you can do it with one of your best friends and watch them play every night too. Chris Carrabba hits the trifecta for me in that he’s one of my best friends in the world, one of my favorite people in the world, and he leads one of my favorite bands of all time, Dashboard Confessional. Sorry for the terrible pun but hands down, this is going to be the best summers ever.”
The presale` kicks off tomorrow Tuesday, March 14 in certain cities, with the general on-sale following this Friday, March 17 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
