On Thursday night,  the “Autism Speaks: Into The Blue” gala hosted Grohl and his 12-year-old daughter for an acoustic set. Grohl and his daughter covered “When We Were Young” by Adele and Billie Eilish’s “Idontwannabeyouanymore.”

On lead vocals, Violet Grohl brought the house down with her gorgeous tone.

Additionally, Grohl played an acoustic version of “Everlong.” Watch snippets of their performance below.

While last night’s antics were undoubtedly pure, this isn’t the first time the pair have performed Adele’s classic. Last March, Grohl and his daughter played “When We Were Young” at another benefit event for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

Violet Grohl has spent the summer on tour with Foo Fighters as a backing vocalist for the band. Talk about living the preteen dream.
