Packed with imagery that looks like it was taken straight out of your favorite cult classics, Dead Girls Academy push images of war, disaster, macabre hauntings and even the relationship of predator and prey to convey the band’s inner truth.

“Many times in my life I’ve been made to feel a lesser person, been told I’m a freak and spoken about negatively just because that person didn’t understand what I was about,” vocalist Michael Orlando says. “There are so many different types of people in this world; however, nobody is better than the other. ‘Everything’ points to the fact that we are all human, and I strongly believe we should all have equal respect.”

“Everything” features punchy vocals laid over catchy staccato riffs with robust, weighty percussion. With an energetic bridge to match, “Everything” is promising of the band’s debut.

“When Ronnie [Radke] and I sat down to write, we wanted to speak truths, and the truth is not always full of cherries,” Orlando says. “I want people to understand you’re not alone in this world. Hate is a low vibration and one that can be destroyed by understanding.”

With 11 tracks that are guaranteed to shred, Alchemy will be out June 15 via Victory Records. You can preorder the band’s upcoming album here.

Dead Girls Academy will also be playing select dates of Warped Tour this summer. Following Warped, the band will be supporting hard-rock outfit Adelitas Way. You can find a full list of tour dates below.
