Death Grips play the Captain’s Rest

Death Grips premiere "No Love" music video

When we last checked in with experimental hardcore hip hop group Death Grips, the band had just made their surprise third album, Government Plates, available for free download. In the few months since, Government Plates has seen an “official release” to iTunes, Death Grips have announced plans to tour and record throughout 2014, and the trio even inked a new publishing deal with Warp Music.

In a somewhat unexpected move, Death Grips have just debuted a new music video for “No Love,” a single from their sophomore album No Love Deep Web. The record was initially leaked in 2012 by the band, following a despite with their former label, Epic, before being picked up for re-release and distributed in physical formats by Harvest Records in the fall of 2013.

Watch the self-directed new video, which appears to employ the use of vintage 3D, below:

Death Grips made festival rounds last summer, including an infamous Lollapalooza no-show, but, as of yet, no live dates foe 2014 have been announced.
