Demi Lovato recently introduced Nita Strauss to a modern deathcore band

It’s well-documented that Demi Lovato has great taste in music. As if the references that littered their latest album, HOLY FVCK, weren’t enough proof, the pop-punk star has professed their love for Job For a Cowboy, Turnstile, Bring Me The Horizon, and plenty of other alternative artists over the years.

But did you know that she recently turned Nita Strauss — a celebrated shredder who joined Lovato’s tour last year and plays guitar for Alice Cooper — onto the deathcore band Bodysnatcher?

In her Instagram story, Strauss posted a screenshot of Bodysnatcher’s “Take Me to Hell” and said that Lovato introduced her while gushing over the riffs. The song is undeniably heavy, full of pummeling guitars, gnarly vocals, and menace, so it makes sense that they’re a fan.
