Diarrhea Planet release "Platinum Girls" music video filmed at original 'Pete & Pete' house
Nashville rockers Diarrhea Planet have premiered a music video for their new single, “Platinum Girls,” inspired by '90s Nickelodeon cult favorite television series, The Adventures Of Pete & Pete, filmed at the original house from the show and featuring familiar characters and locations.
“Platinum Girls” will appear on the group's upcoming EP, Aliens In The Outfield, slated to be released on vinyl Nov. 18 via Infinity Cat. The band will continue premiering new tracks each month until the EP, a followup to last year's I'm Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams, arrives.

The Adventures Of Pete & Pete aired from 1993-1996 on Nickelodeon, and was celebrated for its smart writing and general weirdness. Coincidentally, the band responsible for its iconic theme song, Polaris, recently announced their first-ever tour.
