It looks like Hayley Williams is just as excited for Paramore's next album as you are.

Over the weekend, the FLOWERS for VASES/descansos vocalist took part in a fan Q&A where she finally confirmed a new Paramore album is on the way.

It's been a whirlwind of a month for Hayley Williams so far. On Feb. 5, she debuted her surprise second solo album FLOWERS for VASES/descansos which follows up her debut LP Petals For Armor. Now, it seems as though Williams is turning her focus to Paramore and their new music.

For months now, there's been speculation Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro have been working on new Paramore music. Late last year, a subtle change to their social media platforms caused rumors about new music to emerge. Then, Paramore cryptically teased that a forthcoming album was in the works following a comment from Jimmy Fallon.

Now, Williams has finally officially confirmed a new Paramore album is really on the way. Over the weekend, the vocalist took part in a fan Q&A on Twitter where she confirmed the news. By the looks of it, she's as excited for Paramore's new album as fans are. As well, she has no plans to release a third solo album any time soon.

Although Williams is looking forward to eventually touring with her solo music, she is equally excited to hear crowds sing along to Paramore's new music. Back in May, Williams revealed that the trio's new sound may be influenced by the music they grew up listening to.

“We’ve thought about [the next Paramore album],” Williams said. “Taylor’s mentioned things like: ‘Oh, God, I miss guitars. We’ve found ourselves listening to a lot of older music that we grew up being inspired by. T and I liked stuff that was a bit more ratty sounding: The RaptureYeah Yeah Yeahs. All three of us loved Queens Of The Stone Age’s Songs For The Deaf.”

However, for now, it looks like she's unsure what their new material will sound like.

"Tour... what's that??! (kidding) honestly, I can't wait to hear a lot of songs sung back at me. I'm most looking forward to hearing whatever the next @Paramore

During the Twitter Q&A, Williams also debunked a big fan theory about Paramore's next era. In December, Williams officially brought back her Riot! era red hair, causing fans to speculate Paramore may be returning to their old sounds for the next album. However, it seems as though Williams' latest hair change has nothing to do with Paramore's new music.

actually no! I was just ready. I always knew that at a certain point when I started feeling a little braver, I'd go back to red. hair is a great indicator of so many things. this is where I tag @gooddyeyoung

For now, it's unknown when Paramore's next album may arrive. However, if history repeats itself, fans may get to hear it sometime this year. Since the release of 2009's Brand New Eyes, Paramore have steadily released a new full-length studio album every four years. With After Laughter making its debut in 2017, it's possible we could hear new Paramore music in 2021.

In the meantime, Williams' latest solo album FLOWERS for VASES/descansos is available to stream below.
