Disney World fans debate if going without kids is weird
A massive debate on Twitter has sparked over people who love to attend Disney theme parks without children.
It all started when an op-ed about the subject was posted in the New York Post.

The headline read: “Sorry, childless millennials going to Disney World is weird”.

What followed was a massive debate about whether or not it was unusual, and a ton of points were brought up on both sides. A huge factor was the total cost of going to the theme park, which can add up hundreds of dollars. Also, people brought up how Disney is meant to be a magical place of happiness for everyone, no matter what age. You can see what people are saying below.
I wish millennials could afford to have kids and go to Disneyworld. Can’t have both.

that childless millennial disney world thing is hilar bc a large portion of jpn disney’s market is exactly that and they cater specifically to them which is why their parks are so successful

I went to Disney World by myself recently and had way more fun than the exhausted parents who kept fighting, and their crying, angry, tired children. If it’s “weird” to actually have FUN at Disney World, I’m totally ok with being that kind of “weird.” https://t.co/OP0eGXMoi1

Anyone who’s ever been to Walt Disney World, or Disneyland, knows that there are people there without kids. And anyone who’s been going for a while knows that millennials didn’t invent it, nor are they the only ones who do it. https://t.co/MMrJTCo2pI

Old people should stop going to concerts. Music is for young people and all the old people are ruining our vibe and crowding the mosh pits with their oxygen tanks and walkers. https://t.co/CowmIC8IO6

I mean personally I believe anyone going to Disney is weird but that’s just me https://t.co/eRUg9mgIJO

I generally find myself defending millennials, as most of the ones I know are really great. But going to Disney World when you don’t have kids is just fucking mind-bogglingly weird. https://t.co/xpSIfR5yQt

More Disney news
Speaking of the parks, last month, it was announced that Disneyland is reportedly dedicating an entire section dedicated to Marvel.
That’s right, the part set to have an entire section that was once dedicated to A Bug’s Life. Now, it will be filled with our favorite Avengers and much more.
The news comes from The Los Angeles Times, which says the full details about the park won’t come until August when Disney holds its D23 convention. They discovered the park was planning the land because the city of Anaheim approved a handful of building permits for the area.
There are rumors that there will be a Spider-Man attraction where visitors will apparently help the hero in battle, but other than that we don’t know much else about the contents of the section.
Disney declined to comment to the LA Times about the permits or what type of attractions would be included.
