If you're anything like us, you're still missing the shenanigans that would go down at the Tipton on The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody. (And later on Suite Life On Deck, of course!)

Dylan Sprouse has opened up in a new interview to talk more about life on Disney—and explain why the show came to an end.

Being a teen star on Disney, there is always a ~perception~ and the risk of being taken less seriously as an actor, and that never bothered Sprouse, he tells Vulture. "[I'm] not one of those people that looks back at that experience and says, 'Oh, I want to rebel. I don’t care that much. It’s only stood to benefit me most of my life.'"

He even says that Disney let the duo pick their roles themselves in the first place, with Dylan being a natural fit for Zack and Cole opting for Cody.

However, he does explain that it wasn't necessarily him or Cole's first idea to step away from the show. At the time, the twins were 18 and "had a really awesome idea for where the show needed to go. We were 18. If that isn’t old enough to know exactly what the show needs, then…well, I would beg to disagree.”

He goes on to say that without Disney's willingness to work with them, they decided to step away from the hit show. “I don’t think [Disney] were willing to work with us, really ever," Sprouse tells Vulture. "So we stopped the show."

Are we disappointed to hear the news that there could have been more seasons? Of course.

But those were a few good years while they lasted.

The show ran from 2005 to 2008, with the Suite Life On Deck spinoff running from 2008 to 2011.

Of course, the Sprouse twins' acting careers didn't end there. Dylan recently released Dismissed, playing an over-achiever to the extreme. You can watch that goosebump-inducing trailer here.

Don't mind us as we spend the weekend bingeing all of our favorite Suite Life episodes.
