Dominic Fike’s new album Sunburn is coming this summer

Between starring in Euphoria and selling out tours, last year was massive for Dominic Fike. Now, he’s continuing that momentum with the arrival of his second record, Sunburn, out July 7 via Columbia Records.

According to a press release, the follow-up to his debut LP, 2020’s What Could Possibly Go Wrong, will feature him analyzing the culture and environments that are unique to his home state of Florida. His recent single “Dancing in the Courthouse” acts as a preview of the autobiographical storytelling that’ll appear on the LP.

Earlier this week, the former AP cover star teased the album announcement by revealing its title and posting a short clip of an unreleased song, with the artist singing, “Yeah, Southern Florida, I was raised in the sun/You don’t shake, get hit by rays from the suns.” Additionally, he’ll share the single “Ant Pile” this Friday, which he initially debuted at Coachella in April.
