Taken from their second studio album, I Don’t Want To Grow Up, Drain’s version is a departure from their typical hardcore blast, with frontman Sammy Ciaramitaro trading piercing screams for a clean baritone. The cover also appears on their forthcoming second album, Living Proof, out May 5 via Epitaph Records. Additionally, the band will head out on tour to support the release this May, and you can view dates and grab tickets here.

“Descendents were a huge band for me as both a teenager and as an adult. I know I can speak for all of us when I say that it’s an honor to pay homage and respect to them, as a band that changed the game for us. I just straight up love this track, and in a weird way felt like lyrically, it hit home and touched on the same themes that Drain is all about,” Ciaramitaro says of the cover.
