You can finally get that classic D.R.U.G.S. shirt you’ve been wanting

If you’re a massive Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows  (D.R.U.G.S.) fan but haven’t been able to rep it properly, you know, since Craig Owens just returned to the project after nine years, then you are in luck.

Owens just announced a new merchandise line with a lot of items modeled after the powerfully cathartic hit “King I Am” and its artwork.

For those out of the loop, the Chiodos singer dropped the first D.R.U.G.S. song in almost a decade back in February and said he couldn’t wait to get out there and play the songs live

Just last month, Owens had us going stir-crazy again when he announced that he needs the coronavirus pandemic to end so he can announce some D.R.U.G.S. shows. While that hasn’t happened yet, we are getting some pretty awesome merch to fill the void.

The new items include t-shirts, hoodies and even sweat shorts for that classic comfortable in hot weather look. A lot of the items feature the “King I Am” skull with a crown, but there are also some pretty great throwback D.A.R.E. shirts as well. The D.A.R.E. shirt seems to a reprint of some original D.R.U.G.S. merch from 2010.

Check out the items below and grab it quick because it’s sure to go fast. Keep in mind though that all of the items are for preorder and won’t ship until early June. Maybe we’ll have some more news of a record by then.

D.R.U.G.S originally dissolved back in 2012 after releasing just one album and a live EP when bassist Adam Russell left. Owens announced he would be returning to Chiodos. Shortly after Craig Owens’ announcement, lead guitarist Matt Good, rhythm guitarist Nick Martin and drummer Aaron Stern all ended up announcing their departures as well.

At the time, they were working on a new album just a year after releasing their debut record.

Rumors swirled of a reunion came and went over the years, but none were ever substantiated.

Then in February, Owens dropped a brand new song titled “King I Am” underneath the name D.R.U.G.S. In an interview with ForbesCraig Owens discussed his intention with D.R.U.G.S being about the music first and foremost.

“Right now my focus is just like it was when the first album was written,” Craig Owens says. “The music matters the most. That’s where my focus is at. After that, I’ll start to figure out how to present it live. I don’t want this to just be about me. It’s about the music. That’s all I really care about, and that’s all I’ve ever cared about.”

He also let on that he plans on doing full band shows and tours as D.R.U.G.S.

“There will most definitely be shows and tours,” Owens says. “I’m not sure exactly how it’ll roll out, but I’m currently building my team around it. Once the album is written and done, then I’ll move forward.”
