Dunkin’ Donuts is giving away free donuts, here’s how to get yours

If you’re anything like us, you wake up every Friday morning saying “TGIF!” and push through the day to get to the weekend. Now we’ve got another reason to get out of bed every Friday this month thanks to Dunkin’ Donuts. Beginning March 6, Dunkin’ will be giving away a free doughnut every Friday throughout the month. But there’s a catch.

Earlier this week, Dunkin’ launched its “Free Donut Friday” campaign via Instagram for their DD Perks Members. If you’re not currently a part of their rewards program, you can still get in on all of the action this month by downloading the Dunkin’ app and signing up.

However, there’s one more catch to the free doughnut frenzy. In order to claim your free doughnut every Friday, you must purchase a beverage. What’s better than coffee and a free doughnut on a Friday? We know we’ll be taking advantage of this sweet treat!

“We’re so excited to offer Free Donut Fridays to give all of our DD Perks members—new and existing—an extra special sweet treat as they head into spring,” Stephanie Meltzer-Paul, VP of Digital and Loyalty Marketing, says. “We’re always looking for new ways to show our appreciation to Dunkin’ fans, and our DD Perks Rewards Program allows us to celebrate them with fun and exclusive offers throughout the year.”

Dunkin’ has also partnered up with television personality Gabi Butler to reward one lucky doughnut lover a year’s supply of free doughnuts, and it’s easy to enter for a chance to win. Between March 4 and 20, fans can post to their Instagram feed or story showing off their best TGIFDF cheer and using the hashtag #FDFSweepstakes. Winners will be randomly selected every Friday of the month, and the sweepstakes will end March 26.
