Echosmith create explosive catwalk in new video “Stuck”—watch
After releasing their debut album, Talking Dreams, in 2013, Echosmith buckled down when creating their sophomore effort, Lonely Generation. Released last month to an eager audience, the group homed in on creating a record that was both authentic and relatable.
Echosmith have teamed up with AltPress for the release of their new video, “Stuck.”

Echosmith create a world of juxtaposition that pokes fun at the fashion industry putting high-end couture in a grungy environment. Vocalist Sydney Quiseng (formerly Sierota) wears an extravagant pink tulle dress that runs over the rocks and gravel.
The group are seen showing off their chic garments and striking poses on a make-believe catwalk to two young judges while fire erupts behind them and debris flies through the air.

“‘Stuck’ is a song we were so excited to get out,” guitarist Noah Sierota says. “It felt so natural to create. In the studio, we knew the guitar would be the center of this one, while the drums and bass really drove the choruses. This one feels so good live too, and we are excited to play this on tour in February and March. We wanted to create a video that simultaneously felt cool and strange. We got to make a bit of fun of the seriousness of the fashion industry by making our own runway scene that included some all-too-extravagant conclusions. We love creating tension like that in songs and videos because I think it lets the message of the song shine through.”
