Enter Shikari announce 'The Mindsweep' remix album, stream new version of “Anaesthetist”

Enter Shikari's fourth studio album, The Mindsweep, which was released at the start of the year through Hopeless Records, is getting a full remix treatment from various producers including Metrik, Reso, Lynx and more. The Mindsweep: Hospitalised—in collaboration with Hospital Records—will be available on October 30. The first remix to surface from the album—Reso's take on “Anaesthetist”—is streaming now with a video to match by Mike Tyler. You can check it out below.

In regards to the idea behind the new album, vocalist Rou Reynolds explains: “We've always been big on our B-sides and remixes. With every album, we've always tried to get a load of drum & bass remixes done. Hospital-wise, we did one with High Contrast around the time of our second album Common Dreads, for instance. While we were making The Mindsweep we started the idea of having a consolidated collection of just d’n'b tracks. Because The Mindsweep is such a varied album we just thought it'd be quite interesting to see what a drum & bass take on each track would be, and Hospital's the one label that I personally have been into forever.”

Pre-orders for The Mindsweep: Hospitalised on CD and 2xLP are available now through the band's webstore.
