EP Premiere: Mark Rose (formerly of Spitalfield), 'The Sound Of A Turnaround'

Since the send-off of scene favorites Spitalfield, frontman Mark Rose reinvented himself with 2011's Wonderful Trouble, his debut full-length that had more in common with jazzy pop than emo-rock. His latest release, the Sound Of A Turnaround EP, finds the Chicago singer-songwriter remembering more of his roots, while embracing his newfound sultry side at the same time.
