Exclusive: Kid Dynamite doing a benefit show in Philadelphia

Several months before they play at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas, hardcore legends Kid Dynamite will be doing a special show in their hometown of Philadelphia. The rare live appearance, which also features performances by No Friends and Spraynard, takes place on Sunday, September 11, at the First Unitarian Church, and is a benefit for the Philadelphia Free School. A portion of the $15 ticket price goes toward helping the school buy musical instruments; donations of gently used musical gear will also be accepted at the show.  Additionally, companies such as Vegan Treats, Shirts For A Cure and Altpress, and record labels such as Fat Wreck Chords, Jade Tree, Deathwish and Chunksaah, have donated goodie bags to be raffled off at the show.

Tickets go on sale for the show tomorrow morning, August 16, at 11 a.m. EST. You can get more info at R5productions.com.
