With two highly-praised full-length concept albums in the books, Salt Lake City progressive hardcore rockers Eidola are back and actively promoting their upcoming album—To Speak, To Listen—which will be out June 2 via Blue Swan Records. The album was produced by Dryw Owens at Little Russia Recordings. Preorder it here

The progression in "Tetelestai" figuratively takes listeners on a beautifully orchestrated journey through various spectrums of emotion, while the music video teleports viewers (and bandmembers) all over a gorgeous high-ceiling cathedral and eventually across a breathtaking mountainous landscape into a snow-covered forest where the band continues playing. Michael-Rex Carbonell worked with the band to create this masterpiece.

"After almost a year and a half of touring and writing, we went into the studio with Dryw Owens to create something that pushed our limits as a band and explored unique musical territory we hadn't worked with previously," explain the band members on their recording processes with this new album.

With a self-proclaimed genre of "existential experimentation" the Utah band consists of Andrew Michael Wells on vocals, Brandon Bascom and Matthew Dommer as guitarists and background vocalists, James Johnson on bass and Matthew Hansen providing the beats as the drummer.
