Facebook now allows for free music streaming in News Feed

Facebook has just launched a new feature called Music Stories. Music Stories allows Facebook users to share and play 30-second clips of songs and albums via Facebook's News Feed. Songs can be shared from Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes. The embedded songs can be streamed without leaving Facebook's app.

Users don't need subscriptions to any to play tracks in Music Stories

“We hope by making this experience better, artists will share more, friends will share and engage more, and music will become a better part of the Facebook experience overall,” said Michael Cerda, Director of Product for Facebook.
