Faith No More working on first album in 18 years

Faith No More have revealed that they are currently in the studio working on what will be their first full-length album in 18 years. Bassist and founding member Bill Gould commented on the band's current state in an interview with Rolling Stone saying, “We’ve always shared a chemistry between ourselves that’s unique to this band, but these past few years of touring together have made us aware that we not only play better as a unit, but we like the new stuff we’re coming up with.”

The currently untitled album is being recorded in an Oakland, CA studio with Gould taking on production duties. It will mark the first release from Faith No More’s recently founded imprint label, Reclamation Recordings, which will be distributed by Ipecac Recordings. A limited edition 7-inch single containing the track, “Motherf****r,” will precede the April 2015 release of the impending album. It will be available exclusively through Record Store Day’s Black Friday event on November 28, and then released digitally on December 9.
