See Fall Out Boy play "Hold Me Like a Grudge" & "Sugar, We're Going Down" dressed as chickens on The Tonight Show

Happy Fall Out Boy release day, baby.

Today, Fall Out Boy made their highly anticipated return with the release of So Much (For) Stardust), their eighth studio album. They’ve been busy promoting the record all week, and last night swung by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform a song off the record and give a very special rendition of their classic “Sugar, We’re Goin Down.”

The band played their latest single, “Hold Me Like a Grudge.” In typical FOB fashion, they brought some personality to the stage — replicating the song’s new music video by wearing the same fits, eye patch, blonde wig, and all, and having Pete Wentz break down an “in case of emergency break glass” case to take out a fedora for Patrick Stump. It’s very goofy, but also a killer performance of the ’80s-tinged, melodic pop-rock track.

As if that performance wasn’t fun enough, they also joined Fallon for a version of “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” — dressed as chickens, and singing entirely in “clucks.” Fingers crossed we get a “Sugar, We’re Goin Down (Chicken’s Version)” soon.
