10 Halloween-themed fall tours and festivals to kick off the spooky season
One of the best parts of fall, besides Halloween of course, is the endless announcements of fall tours and festivals featuring some of our favorite bands and artists. So why not combine our love of fall tours and our favorite holiday to compile a list of must-attend Halloween and horror-themed shows?
1. Motionless In White – Trick ‘R Treat tour
Motionless In White are hitting the road this fall for an incredible headlining tour appropriately titled the Trick ‘R Treat tour. The tour will include support from We Came As Romans, After The Burial and Twiztid, meaning you have zero excuses to pass on this Halloween-worthy lineup.
2. Ice Nine Kills – The Octane Accelerator tour
A band who embrace horror to the fullest, Ice Nine Kills will be slashing their way across the country on the Octane Accelerator tour. With a lineup including Fit For A King, Light The Torch, Make Them Suffer and Awake At Last, it’s easy to see that this will be one scary good tour to catch this fall.
3. Twiztid – Every Day Is Halloween 2019
On top of hitting the road to support Motionless In White, Twiztid announced some Halloween-themed headliners to make sure you have plenty to do this fall. We genuinely wish every day could be Halloween, but since it can’t, the Every Day Is Halloween tour is a nice substitute.
4. Horror On The Hudson
Horror On The Hudson is going hard in its first year with quite the impressive lineup. Two stages means twice the spooky fun, and with bands such as Slaves, OCEANA, Picturesque, Everyone Dies In Utah and more set to perform, this is one festival you simply cannot afford to miss. Did we mention there’s also costume contests and candy?
5. The Wonder Years – Halloween Extravaganza
The Wonder Years announced their third (occasionally) Annual Halloween Extravaganza with tickets selling fast than you can eat those Reese’s Pumpkins. With Trash Boat and Homesafe already announced for select shows, it’s hard to believe this extravaganza could get any more extravagant.
6. Voodoo Music + Arts Experience
If you’re looking to fill your full Halloween weekend with music and more, then Voodoo Music + Arts Experience is exactly what you need. Post Malone, Bishop Briggs, Bring Me The Horizon and more are scattered throughout the frightfully wonderful weekend, giving you plenty of music to mosh your little heart out to.
7. Mushroomhead – Halloween Tour 2019
With a tour poster that looks like it’s straight out of Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, Mushroomhead are packing your fall with plenty of Halloween-themed tour dates. Special guests include He Kill 3, Unsaid Fate and Dead Superstar.
8. Boo Ya Fest
Two days of terrifyingly wonderful music and an after-party? We’re so there. Boo Ya Fest brings in Slaves, Brigades, Such Gold, Picturesque, Forever Came Calling, Makari and more spread across two dates, meaning you’ll have plenty to do and see over your Halloween weekend.
9. Heels Of Hell
If you’re looking to mix things up from your typical go-to music events, then hitting up the Heels Of Horror tour could be exactly what you’re looking for. Featuring incredible drag queens such as Sharon Needles, Alaska, Adore Delano and more, you’re bound to be in for both tricks and treats all night long.
10. Haunted Fest
If you’re looking to don your most creative costume while raving your spooky little heart out, then Haunted Fest is right up your creepy alley. There are three dates to choose from, or you could attend all three for the ultimate haunted experience. Each show brings a varying lineup from Porter Robinson to RL GRIME, so you’re bound to find the perfect Halloween EDM experience.
