FOB launch the Fall Out Boy Fund to give back to Chicago

Fall Out Boy are announcing the launch of the Fall Out Boy Fund, a charitable effort from the band aimed as way to “give back to Chicago.” Check out more info on the new fund—including how you can be a part of it—and read the band's latest tweets about the Fall Out Boy Fund!

As tweeted by Fall Out Boy on Thursday, the band are kicking things off for the fund by “donating and teaming up with Back To The Roots to provide 20,000 elementary school kids in the Chicago area with food education.”

In addition, the band will be utilizing their upcoming M A N I A Tour to “honor local champions” in each city as a Champion Of The M A N I A Tour. “Each city will have its own champion who will be honored on stage during our show,” the band tweets. “A way for us to honor local champions. Kind, generous, brave people who are helping change the world for the better.”

To nominate a Champion Of The M A N I A Tour, post a photo or video on Instagram with the hashtag #FOBChampion telling the band why your nominee selection should be the champion of your city! Submit the Instagram link to the form located at Fall Out Boy's Champion Of The M A N I A Tour website, linked above, and don't forget to included the name of your city. The winners will then be chosen and contacted a week before the show in their locale.
