If you're anything like me, then you watch Jeopardy! mostly in silence—until there happens to be a music category. Then it's our time to shine!

QUIZ: How well do you know band logos?

A few times, stars from our scene have made it to the big leagues—being featured as a Jeopardy! clue. As you might expect, the contestants often don't fare too well against emo bands.

Check out some of our favorite Jeopardy! clues below. Let us know in the comments which band you want to see featured on Jeopardy!

Jimmy Eat World

Just a couple weeks ago, Jimmy Eat World were featured as the answer to a clue referencing their smash single, “The Middle.”

Slayer

Slayer made it just a few days ago as the answer to a clue that also paid homage to some other metal legends.

Fall Out Boy…three times

Fall Out Boy have no shortage of Jeopardy! clue appearances. Check them all out:

Avenged Sevenfold

The rock band made an appearance as an answer in the college edition of Jeopardy! Skip to about one minute in to hear the clue.

Paramore

It breaks our hearts, but no one answered this clue correctly. Don't worry—we're still into you, Paramore!

Kurt Vile

Contestants also couldn't pull through for this Kurt Vile-themed clue back in 2016.

Gym Class Heroes

Along with the television show, the Jeopardy! Twitter account occasionally tweets out show-style questions for followers to answer. Gym Class Heroes were featured in this one back in 2012:

The Killers

Brandon Flowers was the answer to this Killers-themed question in the Lead Singers category.

Plus a whole lot of emo

My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco and Dashboard Confessional have all had shoutouts that lead contestants to the answer—”What is emo?” (That's a loaded question…)
