1. Bayside dropped new track “I’ve Been Dead All Day,” culled from the band’s forthcoming album, Vacancy, that is out August 19 via Hopeless Records.

The song’s unique music video featured Bayside’s Anthony Raneri and Nick Ghanbarian driving around fans and giving them a first listen of Vacancy (pre-order). The ride included coffee, shakes and fifteen minutes of air drumming. Watch it unfold:

6. Josh Dun, drummer of Twenty One Pilots, honored his mom with his latest tattoo, and here’s her heartwarming reaction:

7. letlive. created a limited edition charity shirt in the wake of gun violence and police brutality. All the proceeds will be donated to the National Association For The Advancement Of Colored People (NAACP) legal defense fund. The t-shirt lists the name of every person who has died as a result of police misconduct in 2016 while the front displays “Good Mourning, America” —letlive.’s song that discusses these topics. Listen to “Good Mourning, America” here, read what frontman Jason Butler says about the initiative and, most importantly, grab the T-shirt here.

“As one of the lightest persons of color on my block I struggled to find an identity within my demographic… until the respective law enforcement agency arrived. It was in those moments I was reminded of how I was to identify in this country. A construct that was created, not chosen. It was in those moments I knew that I was part of the ‘other’ section of our society. I experienced treatment that challenged the worth of our bodies and, sadly, I am reminded of such systems all too often with moments like these. It shouldn't take a band releasing a shirt with the names of those slain by the ones appointed to keep them safe for people to realize what is happening outside of their doors, but I sure as hell do hope it helps.”

8. Following news that their new album, recorded with Will Yip, is finished, Eisley will be heading out on tour with the Dear Hunter alongside a string of headlining shows. The lineup will feature Sherri DuPree-Bemis on vocals and guitars, Christie DuPree on vocals, Garron DuPree on bass, Remington DuPree on drums, Elle Puckett on lead guitars and vocals and Jedidiah Lachmann on keys.
