1. Set It Off unveiled a new music video for their track “Life Afraid,” from their new album, Upside Down—and you won’t want to miss it. Watch:

2. Issues’ new video for their track “Blue Wall” definitely makes a statement. Read the message before the video and watch it below.

5. Against Me! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace’s upcoming memoir Tranny: Confessions of Punk Rock's Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout releases Nov. 15 via Hachette. Co-written by Noisey editor Dan Ozzi, Vice shared an excerpt from the memoir. Read the excerpt, which is about a coffeeshop fight that landed Grace in a county jail, here.

11. Recent Fueled By Ramen signing, SWMRS re-released their debut album Drive North, along with a music video for the new single “Palm Trees” and a lyric video for the new track “Lose It.”

12. Ahead of their tour with Good Charlotte, Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong, Hit The Lights and Big Jesus, the Story So Far debuted a video for their track “Nerve,” from their self-titled record.

15. Green Day played some deep cuts at an intimate Rough Trade gig in New York City, celebrating the release of their twelfth studio album, Revolution Radio (via NME).

The Insomniac classic, “Armatage Shanks,” got its first play since 2010:

The band even performed “Why Do You Want Him?” from their 1990 EP Slappy—the first time in 15 years. Wow, right:

23. Trivium are re-releasing their debut album, Ember To Inferno, which has been out-of-print for a while. The deluxe version will feature 13 never-before-heard tracks. Grab it Dec. 2 via Cooking Vinyl (pre-order here.)

“The purpose of this release is to show the very early beginnings of Trivium—perhaps an era unbeknownst to most listeners of the band,” says vocalist and guitarist Matt Heafy. “To look back at Ember as the starting point of Trivium becoming recognized worldwide is a staggering thought for me, considering I was 16/17 years old during the writing and recording of the record.
“As a kid, I always said the 'goal' was to be in a massive metal band. I don't think I actually knew what it would mean to have fans in different parts of the world, and I still can't believe people care so much that they actually want to hear the music that pre-dates our Roadrunner years. To this day, I am still completely blown away that people are singing words to songs I wrote when I was 16 years old. It's an amazing feeling.”
