800 BANDS: A look back at all of the previous 100 Bands You Need To Know issues

Each year since 2001, AP has named 100 Bands You Need To Know. Look, we’re not mathematicians, but multiply that by eight years, and that’s a cool 800 bands that we gave you ample warning to get on board with early, from At The Drive-In and Death Cab For Cutie to A Day To Remember to the Gaslight Anthem. To find out which 100 bands made it into this year’s edition, you’ll have to pick up AP 249, on newsstands now. But if you’re a few years behind the times, we’ve got this refresher course on every band to ever make the list (we’ve even included the original write-ups for a bunch each year).
