A look back at Warped Tour 2007
For 23 years, Warped Tour has been the scene’s Christmas in July—its punk rock summer camp, if you will. Each lineup is a snapshot of that year’s best in alternative music.
As we sit (im)patiently for the 2017 lineup (coming March 22!), we’re taking you back 10 years—to Warped Tour 2007—when the traveling festival was celebrating its 13th year.

Lucky 13
A smirking Hayley Williams graces the cover of AP 229.1, the 2007 Warped Tour issue. To her left is As I Lay Dying’s Tim Lambesis. Mark Unseen sits in between Williams and Lambesis while Tiger Army’s Nick 13 rounds things out on the right.
AP 229.2 features Bad Religion’s Greg Graffin, Straylight Run’s Michelle DaRosa and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ Ronnie Winter all surrounding Bayside’s Anthony Raneri.
Kicking off June 28 in San Diego, Calif. and ending Aug. 25 in Los Angeles, the tour’s routing was quite similar to today’s. Internet presale tickets for Warped community members were available April 1. The package included a ticket and a copy of the double-disc compilation for $19.99.
The Stages
Keeping with the Lucky 13 theme, Warped Tour 2007’s Lucky Stage featured the likes of Alkaline Trio, Yellowcard, Sum 41 and New Found Glory. The 13 stage featured Coheed & Cambria, Circa Survive, the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and more.
Avenged Sevenfold were the secret special guests on the Lucky Stage.
Other stages included the Smartpunk Stage, Hurley Stage, Hurley.com Stage and the Ernie Ball stage.
The Storm
One of the most storied tales of Warped 2007 comes from an epic storm that interrupted Cleveland’s stop. Partway through the day a torrential downpour paired with quite a bit of lightening put a pause on the day’s festivities and threatened to end them all together. Luckily things eventually cleared up and the show went on, but as you will see in the videos below, there was quite a bit of damage and the event went down in Warped history. Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba even got a tattoo commemorating the day, which you can read about here.
Debuts
2007 was jam-packed with many scene celebrities’ Warped debuts. On the full lineup (see next page), bands making their first Warped Tour are starred.
