Album Premiere: William Beckett, 'Genuine And Counterfeit'

It feels like it's been a long time coming since we first spoke to former The Academy Is… frontman William Beckett in the studio about his debut full-length solo album in April. His run on this year's Warped Tour and video premieres in the interim have held fans over since then. 

But fans aren't the only one who have eagerly anticipated this release. Beckett, too, is eager to finally tell his story:

“This album is meant to be listened to from start to finish. This album is about every relationship you ever took seriously. This album is about getting kicked around, knocked down and rising up a stronger, better person than before; about trying to make it all work. This album is about the delicate balance between what is authentic and what is false; the peaks and valleys between what is genuine and what is counterfeit. This album is the story I never told. Until now.”
