AP’s Amber Funk picks her 10 must-see artists at Warped Tour 2015
With more than 100 performers playing across 10 stages on this year’s tour, it's going to be tough to plot out your Warped Tour schedule. So starting this week and through the tour, AP’s editorial staff will be pumping out lists of some of our must-sees to help you decide! Here are 10 picks from AP staffer Amber Funk.
1. Memphis May Fire
Warped wouldn’t be Warped without a bouncy metalcore performance. MMF will always be one of my all-time favorites. I make a point to see them live.
2. The Wonder Years
I mean, they are nominated for an APMA for Best Live Band for a reason.
3. As It Is
U.K. pop-punk. 'Nuff said.
4. Moose Blood
Moose Blood, one of my favorites, make their U.S. debut this summer at Warped. I can’t wait to sing along like a crazy person.
5. Neck Deep
Two words: New. Album. Oh, and did you know they are nominated for Best Breakthrough Band at the 2015 APMAs?
6. PVRIS
Oh, weird, another band nominated for Best Breakthrough Band is on my Warped list.
7. Being As An Ocean
Commence cathartic experience.
8. The Amity Affliction
Every time Austrailian heavy hitters the Amity Affliction play a show near me, some act of God prevents me from seeing them. Not this year!
9. Knuckle Puck
We get to hear new music from the band! And, if luck is on my side, they might even play “Fences.” #EverythingIsCopacetic
10. New Beat Fund
The guys in New Beat Fund are a blast, and their performances make for one fun summer party.
