Awake At Last break free from their chains in new video—watch

Delaware hard-rock quartet Awake At Last unleashed a new video for “More Than Animals” from their forthcoming full-length debut, The Change.

Delivering an uplifting message through crushingly heavy verses and a monumental hook, “More Than Animals” empowers listeners to battle their inner demons and overcome self-perpetuating struggles.

“‘More Than Animals’ is a song about self-realization and that sometimes our circumstances imprison us in our own minds,” the band explains. “The song is about breaking these chains that bind you that we often create ourselves and not falling in line.”

The video not only captures the band’s energetic performance, but also aesthetically personifies the concept of breaking free from yourself and your mental barriers.

“Through the video for ‘More Than Animals,’ we wanted to show our listeners that we know what it is like to feel confined by our struggles and circumstances,” the band says.

The words that appear in the video represent driving forces that are important to each band member. The band aspire to cast a light of hope through the song and its message.

“We hope our fans can find something to inspire them to break free of their chains and realize they are not alone,” they continue.
