Cali punks Bad Cop/Bad Cop go all out on new song "Get Rad"—listen

Cali punk band Bad Cop/Bad Cop recorded their energetic new song “Get Rad” to support their current tour.

“We love a good time and we'll party if we want, but most importantly, we're going for it! Whatever it is. Otherwise, why bother?” says vocalist/guitarist Jennie Cotterill about the song. “'Get Rad!' is the oldest song in our active catalog, and the most recent release. It is the earliest example of the bad cop formula: trading vocals, three-part harmonies and having fun. This version was recorded by Davey Warsop at Hurley Studios during the production of Not Sorry in December 2015.”

The band say they have had a fantastic time supporting ska-punk band the Interrupters on tour so far. Cotterill says “Touring with the Interrupters has been amazing! They're like a family of traveling acrobats. They live on the road and own the stage. Every night. The Bivona brothers are unreal and we are all completely in love with Aimee. We're beyond stoked to be traveling the country together, playing sold-out shows packed with great people.  It's great finally getting to some places we've never been (Canada was INCREDIBLE) and so many shows have been all-ages, which is a real treat. Nothing's cooler than meeting a little kid who tells you about the band they're starting.”
