FRANK IERO

Repost from the extremely talented @paigefarrow taken a few months back in Columbus Ohio.

Iero inked “Jinx Removing” on the left side of his neck as a reference to the Jawbreaker track of the same name. He also has logos for Black Flag and the Misfits on his left arm and left shin, respectively.

PETE WENTZ (FALL OUT BOY)

Pete Wentz’s band tattoo technically isn’t by choice, but rather due to a bet stemming from a prank war with former Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta (that included the Clandestine Industries “Please call Gabe Saporta” tee Wentz sported at the 2009 MTV VMAs). Wentz told Saporta that if the latter’s “Good Girls Go Bad” went platinum, he could choose a tattoo for Wentz to get, which ended up being a self-portrait with the text “Gabey Baby Made Me Go Bad.”

New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert and vocalist Jordan Pundik both have ink inspired by other artists. Pundik has MxPx’s logo on his right elbow, while Gilbert has an H2O tattoo on his right inner arm and both a Bjork logo and a Hatebreed lyric on his left arm. However, Gilbert told Fuse that the latter is incorrect, reading, “What I have in my heart, I’ll take to the grave” when it should have been “my grave.”

ASH COSTELLO (NEW YEARS DAY)

Not your average rock band @nydrock

New Years Day vocalist Ash Costello inked a jagged set of piano keys inspired by Cursive’s 2003 album The Ugly Organ on her right forearm. She also has the Misfits logo across her thumb.

ANTHONY RANERI (BAYSIDE)

Bayside frontman Anthony Raneri has the Alkaline Trio heart and skull on his right elbow.

Simms has several lyric tattoos, including the Beatles’ “Happiness is a warm gun” and “I believe in yesterday,” as well as Billy Joel’s “I’d rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.” She also inked lyrics from husband Andy Black’s Black Veil Brides track “Saviour” around her right arm.

MAX BEMIS (SAY ANYTHING)

@sayanything fans, feel free to make the joke.

Say Anything’s Max Bemis’ first tattoo was an early logo for Saves The Day on his back, which he got inked on a dare at age 17. Bemis also has a portrait of Johnny Cash on his left arm, which he has said he chose as both a fan of his music and for being able to relate to his struggle.

BENJI MADDEN (GOOD CHARLOTTE)

Madden has several tattoos on his leg that pay homage to other artists, including MxPx’s logo, Minor Threat’s sheep, text of New Found Glory’s and Rancid’s logo. Rancid guitarist Lars Frederiksen actually inked “Journey to the end” under his band’s logo.
