We all have some pretty strong opinions when it comes to Halloween candy (I'm looking at you candy corn), but have you ever thought of what candy your favorite band would be if they were a Halloween treat? Would they be controversial like candy corn or a fan favorite like Reese's? We've gathered a few favorite bands and compared them to some iconic Halloween candies that we all tend to enjoy.

1.  My Chemical Romance – Black Licorice

This one is pretty obvious, plus once you pull Black Licorice apart there's no way it's going back together (too soon?).

2. Seaway – Airheads

“Sometimes I can be a fucking airhead…”

Seaway set themselves up for this one.

3. Paramore – Starbursts

Bright, colorful, fun and a definite fan favorite. Starbursts are the obvious choice for Paramore.

4. Panic! At The Disco – Pop Rocks

Spunky and energetic, Pop Rocks dance around on your tongue like Brendon Urie dances around on stage. Besides, who doesn't love Pop Rocks?!

5. The Maine – Sweet Tarts

Sweet Tarts for the sweet hearts with the slightest bit of kick to keep you wanting more.

6. Neck Deep – Pizza Gummies

A pop punk essential to represent the band who gave out free pizzas to their fans with #ThePizzaAndThePanic.

7. Blink-182 – Reese's Cups

An influence and inspiration to majority of the bands in our scene, Blink-182 are the foundation of all Halloween candy.

8. Green Day – 100 Grand

They've been around forever and obviously aren't going away anytime soon.

9. I Prevail – Candy Corn

Candy Corn is that Halloween treat you claim to hate and are quick to bash…. but deep down you secretly love it.

10. PVRIS – Hershey Dark Chocolate

A dark aesthetic paired with a resourceful and well-developed sense of style and sound.

11. Lights – Smarties

A comic book and album crossover? LIGHTS is not only sweet, but a genius for sure.

12. Twenty One Pilots – Twix

Typically coming in a pair, you have your left Twix and your right Twix creating the perfect Halloween treat combination.

13. All Time Low – Laffy Taffy

Flexibile, fun and a guaranteed good time. You can always count on Laffy Taffy to provide you with a corny joke and a good laugh.

14. The Word Alive – Kit Kat

The best part about a Kit Kat is how even after you break some pieces off, it's still enoyable individually and as a whole. After parting ways with two members, TWA are still one band we can't stop putting on repeat.

15. Fall Out Boy – Take 5

After taking a break (Take 5 – get it?) FOB came back to the scene with a new depth and added layers to their sound. While a Take 5 may not be a mainstream Halloween candy, you have to appreciate it's traditional caramel and chocolate in combination with peanuts and pretzels. This candy has a little bit of everything.

16. As It Is – Skittles

Bright, fun, outgoing and happy, As It Is are capable of putting a smile on anyone's face.

17. Stacked Like Pancakes – Warheads

This candy is a risk-taker, but the end result always pays off. Brass-Rock band Stacked Like Pancakes took the chance on combining classic ska with a punk rock attitude and the end result is nothing short of phenomenal.

18. Pierce The Veil – Hot Tamales

I think you all saw this one coming.

19. Waterparks – Valentine's Conversation Hearts

Precious babes who have no idea what's going on let alone what holiday it is, Waterparks are the Valentine's Conversation Hearts of the Halloween candy world.
