Here are 10 epic onstage collabs you have to see to believe

One of the most epic moments that can happen during a concert is when two artists join forces onstage to perform a song they love but haven’t recorded together before.

From All Time Low and Halsey to 5 Seconds Of Summer and Palaye Royale, some of our favorite artists have collaborated onstage to perform some of the most impressive covers ever.

We’ve rounded up 10 of the most epic onstage collabs because they’re worth shouting out—they’re that good. Turn up the volume and enjoy these memorable moments in live music below.

1. Halsey and All Time Low

In August 2018, Halsey and All Time Low made our dreams come true by performing Remembering Sunday” from the band’s 2007 album, So Wrong, It’s Right. Halsey really came out of nowhere to wow the crowd for Juliet Simms’ original verse with her amazing vocals and ultimate scene kid knowledge.

2. 5SOS and Palaye Royale

This past New Year’s Eve, we got to see Ashton Irwin team up with Palaye Royale to perform some serious rock ’n’ roll throwbacks. The artists played “I Wanna Be Your Dog” by the Stooges and “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath, and it was as punk rock as you’d imagine.

3. Poison and *NSYNC

Poison vocalist Bret Michaels was joined onstage by Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick of former boy band *NSYNC to perform “Nothin’ But A Good Time” in December 2019. It was definitely an unexpected collab to say the least, but we can’t deny that it’s pretty impressive.

4. Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker

While Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker have created plenty of their own music together and a Paramore cover, the pair hit up Emo Nite in December 2019 to honor the drummer’s work with blink-182. The two rocked “What’s My Age Again?” for a crowd of lucky fans, and we’re forever jealous we didn’t get to see it in person.

5. Hayley Williams and Kacey Musgraves

Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams joined Grammy-winning country artist and scene supporter Kacey Musgraves to perform “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” in February 2019, and it was an absolute party. Both of their voices were so complementary, and we just wish we could jump onstage and get groovy with them while they perform.

6. The Used and Anthony Green

During an Emo Nite set last year, the Used teamed up with Anthony Green to honor the late Kurt Cobain on the 25th anniversary of his death. The acts performed Nirvana classics such as “Heart-Shaped Box” and “All Apologies” to pay homage to the artist, and it downright brought us to tears.

7. Waterparks and All Time Low

All Time Low are obviously unafraid of onstage collabs. At Slam Dunk Festival last year, they teamed up with Waterparks frontman Awsten Knight to perform the band’s track “Break Your Little Heart.” These kinds of performances are what Warped Tour dreams are made of.

8. Third Eye Blind and Cassadee Pope

Cassadee Pope, former Hey Monday frontwoman, joined Third Eye Blind onstage last summer to perform “Losing A Whole Year” after she was spotted in the crowd. Pope, who performs country music now, was watching the band at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater when she was picked to go onstage, and for being last minute, she definitely killed it.

9. Demi Lovato and We The Kings

Demi Lovato, frequent attendee of Emo Nite, joined We The Kings frontman Travis Clark last March to sing Paramore, because that’s what scene kids do. The duo, who previously collaborated on “We’ll Be A Dream”, performed “Misery Business,” and it was perfect.

10. Kellin Quinn and the Used

Sleeping With Sirens vocalist Kellin Quinn got his wish granted as he got to perform onstage with the Used last summer. Prior to the collab, he asked the band if he could join them to play their track “Take It Away” on Twitter, and the band (thankfully) obliged.
