Half the fun of making a thematic music video is getting to be someone else for a day. From hilarious outfits to sweet makeup jobs, check out some of the coolest transformations below.

All Time Low – “Something’s Gotta Give”

Seeing frontman Alex Gaskarth hobble around in a fry costume is peak entertainment, but the impressive zombie makeup on the entire band is a close second.

Good Charlotte get rebranded as the Food Group with their hit single “All U Can Eat” and complete the look with costumes. Seeing them try to play their instruments as a carrot, slice of pizza, ear of corn, strawberry and a burger is the highlight of the video.

Sleeping With Sirens – “Do It Now, Remember It Later”

Sleeping With Sirens find themselves on a faux news show in which frontman Kellin Quinn adopts the attire of an anchorman — oversized glasses and all.

Green Day – “Bang Bang”

Green Day robs a bank — or at least that’s what the cartoonish masks imply until the plot twist at the end.
