Broadside channel their passion and heart in music video for new single, “Puzzle Pieces”

Following last summer’s Warped Tour debut and a year of touring ever since, Broadside are back with their debut single, “Puzzle Pieces,” taken from their sophomore record, Paradise.

The color-drenched new music video channels much of what their forthcoming record is all about—reaching for the next step, not fearing failure and, ultimately, never giving up on your own creative dreams as you pursue your own version of paradise.

“We have been picking ourselves apart to really find the focus of what people will think when they hear the name Broadside with this new record,” frontman Ollie Baxxter explains.

“As I’m getting older and the band progresses, we’re being put in situations where we have the opportunity to reach a wider audience. Do we do take advantage of those opportunities or stay true to who we are and express our ideals? Eventually you must ask yourself, at what cost does this come? Do I edit myself or do I speak the harsh reality of the creative industry? Puzzle pieces—it takes one piece to either begin or to finish an entire piece of art.”

Paradise is set for a June 16 release and is currently available for preorder here.
