Exclusive: Stream Bullet Treatment's latest featuring Tim McIlrath of Rise Against

There’s no press shot of Los Angeles hardcore-punk act BULLET TREATMENT because, well, there are no permanent members, not including founder/guitarist Chuck Dietrich. Bullet Treatment features a constantly revolving and ever-changing group of performers and since the band’s inception six years ago, the line-up has included members of Suicidal Tendencies, the Bronx, Civet, Rock Kills Kid and plenty more.

For the band’s upcoming Fat Wreck Chords 7-inch, Designated Vol. 1, Dietrich enlisted Russ Rankin (ONLY CRIME), Johnny Bonnel (SWINGIN’ UTTERS), Thomas Barnett (STRIKE ANYWHERE), Stza (STAR FUCKING HIPSTERS), Chris #2 (ANTI-FLAG) and Tim McIlrath (RISE AGAINST) for a unique musical experiment.

"For the most part, we fly by the seats of our pants, often recording without ever meeting each other," says Dietrich. "For this 7-inch, every song will be exactly the same instrumentally, while each singer will write and perform their own individual vocal track without hearing any of the other recordings."

The record will be available in limited quantities on vinyl 7-inch and through digital download on April 14, but we’ve got an exclusive sneak preview of Tim McIlrath’s version of the song, "Wreckage," streaming right here.
