Casey Bolles releases emotional cover of the Mountain Goats' "Going to Georgia" (exclusive)
On Jan. 22, acoustic indie rocker Casey Bolles is releasing Manhattan via Pure Noise records. The three track EP will feature covers from the 1975, the Mountain Goats and the Postal Service.
Though the cover EP only took a few days to record, Bolles is working on original music, too. “I wanted to release this cover EP while I'm writing my first LP.”
Following the premiere of the 1975's “Chocolate,” Bolles is teaming up again with AltPress for the second track off the EP, a cover of “Going to Georgia” by the Mountain Goats.
“The Mountain Goats are my favorite band of all time, so I definitely wanted to cover one of their songs,” said Bolles. “'Going to Georgia' is one of my favorites of theirs.”
