Coffee Shop: What was the best show you saw in 2009?

If you were to ask me to put together my dream concert bill, it would definitely include some combination of Brand New and Manchester Orchestra. So when that actual lineup came through Cleveland this past fall, there was nothing (not even a marathon of The Office) that could keep me away. It was the first show of Brand New’s headlining tour, and the closest I’ve come to seeing both bands in an arena-type setting. Manchester were insane as per usual, playing only songs from Mean Everything To Nothing, and seeing Brand New with a massive video screen and vast stage set-up was a formula for 90 minutes of chills. Since it was the first show of the tour, I got to see the live debut of a ton of songs off of Daisy, which is something I remind my friends of endlessly any time "Vices" is on. Anyway, that show was easily the best I saw of the year. How about you? What was the best show you saw in 2009? Give us details. Who? Where? Why?
