AltPress can exclusively introduce throwback pop-punk outfit Dizzy Pleasure Club—DPC for short. Coming out of the Baltimore/Washington D.C. scene with players from Turnstile, Angel Du$t, In Between and more, the band recall an early '00s punk attitude of imperfect recordings and tight harmonies in two minute packages. Head down to hear “Drown,” the elected single from their first release.
Their five-song debut EP, available on Photobooth Records' Bandcamp, was recorded by Baltimore's own Paul Leavitt (Have Mercy, All Time Low, Hundredth).
DPC's lineup is vocalist/guitarist Pat McCrory (Turnstile, Angel Du$t), bassist Nick Heitman (Angel Du$t), guitarist Mike French (In Between) and drummer Robin Zeijlon (Red Death, Pure Disgust). Zeijlon goes on to say, “It wasn’t easy mixing East Bay with Long Island, but we did it and thank god you're here for it. Listen to us if you love your mom but hate your dad.”
