5 artists you can't miss while they're on tour this fall

Summer has officially come to an end, which means a slew of long-awaited album releases and plenty of great fall tours kicking off. There’s a lot happening this fall, which can make it hard to choose. Here are some bands you should definitely catch on the road.

Yellowcard

It’s hard to believe that 13 years after the success of Ocean Avenue, Yellowcard have released their final, self-titled album and are kicking off their farewell world tour! This tour will be bittersweet for die-hard Yellowcard fans, but as the saying goes: Save the best for last. Don’t miss out on saying goodbye to almost 20 years of great music.

Brand New

Brand New are on the road this fall with the Front Bottoms and Modern Baseball. Although Brand New are no longer releasing an album this year, it is the 10th anniversary of The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me. They confirmed, via Twitter, they will be playing the album in its entirety, along with other music, old and new. There are already a couple of sold-out dates for this run, so be sure to grab a ticket soon.

Dance Gavin Dance

Dance Gavin Dance are touring in support of their seventh full-length album, Mothership, released earlier this month. If the success of the album so far says anything, it’s to come for DGD and stay for Tilian Pearson’s vocals, which have only grown since he joined the band in 2012.

Waterparks

Waterparks have had a crazy year. They’ve signed to Equal Vision Records, took over the Poseidon Stage at Vans Warped Tour, opened for Good Charlotte and will release their debut album, Double Dare, on November 4. This might be one of the last times to see Waterparks before they become uber rock stars.

The Wonder Years

The Wonder Years are headlining what could be called the pop-punk dream tour.  In all seriousness though, this tour has a super-group level lineup and all of the bands have had solid releases over the last year.
