Aspiga frontman Kevin Day sets out on his own with his solo act Graduation Speech, and AP has the exclusive stream of his first EP Quiet & Calm via Black Numbers.

Stream the album below:

Toned down form the maximum-volume sound we've come to expect, Day says this EP has been a long time coming and is meant to feel like a “personal performance” for anyone who listens to it.

Quiet & Calm is a jumping point,” Day says. “The earliest song on the EP was written almost six years ago, and even that track has evolved from its original conception. I wanted to slow down and strip everything to the basics. I wanted to pay homage to my favorite artists that can get inside of your head with a few chords and vocal melodies. This wasn't meant to be perfect—it's very much meant to feel like a personal performance in a bedroom that just happened to be recorded. This is for anyone that searches for just a shred of clarity in their lives by engulfing themselves in music. This is for everyone that has supported my band Aspiga over the years because it resonates with their hearts. Raise your voice.”
