Indie-pop act Brighten premiere first new music in four years via the Maine's 8123—listen

Indie-pop mavens Brighten have released new music for the first time in four years. The trio took an extended break after their 2013 release Peace And Quiet, citing attention to other projects. “Even though we all have our own careers and different focuses, we will always write music together,” says drummer Jimmy Richards. “Each time we record an album we have a chance to reflect on different stages of our lives. Every song has a personal tie.”

Brighten will be releasing a new, self-titled album March 3. You can preorder the record here.
